Name a book you would like to see under your Christmas tree
There are many books I’d like to see under the Christmas tree, but the one I’ve been wanting the most is the Illustrated Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Just look at it. Every time I go into a bookshop I just flick through the pages and hope the day will come where I finally add it to my book collection.
A book you’ll be reading during the Christmas Season?
I’m giving two answers for this one. First, I’ll be rereading The Night Circus, because it is one of my favourite but I read it years ago just after Christmas, and this December seems like the perfect chance to reread it. The second is The Name of the Wind, which bought yesterday for the purpose of reading the weeks before Christmas. At the moment there are hardly any books on my shelves that I feel like reading (that I haven’t already), so I decided to buy this whopper of a book – 662 pages – to tide me over until Christmas day!
Favourite Christmas Movie?
I actually don’t like Christmas moves that much…
BUT i have this tradition where on Christmas Eve I watch The Polar Express in the evening. I have done since I was about…7 years old maybe? So I’d choose The Polar Express as my favourite.
Christmas just makes me want to watch the Harry Potter movies and Disney movies, so they’re my version of Christmas films!
Do you like snow?
Not really no…
BUT only if I have to go out in it. Then I hate it because cold and inconvenience.
Anyway, I’m one of those people that is ALWAYS really cold, so any warmth I get is welcome. Snow is the exact opposite of that. I can only stand it when I don’t have to go out in it, and can do so voluntarily to go round to my friends house, knock on their door and sing “DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN?”
Name a character you you would like to spend your Christmas day with
um…….
You have no idea how long I had to try and think of an answer for this.
Maybe Aelin Galathynius from Throne of Glass, because I have a feeling she’d make Christmas so cosy and think through such little details and everything would be perfect. Plus she’s one of my favourites of all time so I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to become friends with her.
Other than that, maybe Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter…but the whole gang really. Luna would make Christmas quirky. Plus if I’m with the whole gang that means I’m probably at Hogwarts so YAY.
To give or to receive?
Everyone loves getting presents, but I do love hunting for the perfect gifts for my friends. Sure, it can be annoying if I can’t think of any ideas, but when I do and it’s all sorted, I spend most of December waiting for the day I can give it to them. So to give.
What fictional place would you like to spend Christmas at?
Need you ask…HOGWARTS!!! Just imagine having Christmas dinner in such a magical place.
Narnia would be a pretty nice place to spend Christmas too.
Fondest Christmas memory?
Every year is a fond memory! I have quite a small family so we all go round to my Nan’s house for Christmas dinner and stay there for most of the day. I really love it ❤
Can you say Christmas tree ten times FAST in a row (pronouncing it correctly!
I actually can’t! I’m so bad at talking sometimes, so when I try I just burst out laughing instead.
I really enjoyed that tag! Feeling even more festive than before!
I tag…
