1. Do you have a favourite winter read?

Not really. I mean, like most people I’d love to reread the Harry Potter series every Christmas, but I don’t have time. I’ve noticed I tend to like books that take on a more magical theme…like I’ll be rereading The Night Circus this December (this week actually).

2. Find a book with blue on the cover

Got to get Throne of Glass in there somewhere, right?

No but really I was going to choose Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi because it has frost on the cover too, but I don’t own that book yet so it felt like cheating.

3. Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree

I love the covers of The Bone Season series. They’re simple but so bright. I chose the second book The Mime Order because it’s red, and the traditional Christmassy coloured are red, green and gold. Plus the gold pattern in the middle kind of looks like a star so…

4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation

Since I answered with Hogwarts and Narnia on my previous Christmas tag, I thought I’d go with something different. I’d love to see Camp Half-Blood at Christmas. I now the weather is controlled there, but I reckon it’d be changed to snow and crisp air and it’d be stunning.

5. Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation

Related to the answer above – Percy Jackson. I just want to be Annabeth to be honest.

6. Name one book on your wish list this year

Again, I’m going for a different answer than what I would originally choose. I do really want the Illustrated Harry Potter, but I’d also like Outlander too. To be honest, there are a lot of books on my wishlist!

7. Favorite holiday drink, treat, & movie?

Drink: Vanilla Hot Chocolate from Starbucks

Treat: Any chocolate really. Maybe a Celebrations box

Movie: Harry Potter or anything Disney
