More blog awards! I realized yesterday that I was nominated for quite a few, and since The Name of the Wind is taking me a while to read, I don’t yet have a review to write for it. I’m hoping I can finish it this weekend to get the review up soon! 7 facts about me…

1. I’m currently addicted to Little Mix’s new album Get Weird

2. In 2016 I’m hoping to read more Graphic Novels, Classics and Historical fiction.

3. I am officially on my Christmas break as of yesterday, and I’m so excited that I have more time to read now!

4. I’ve never been to a bookish event, and that makes me sad. no book signings, no conventions etc. I really struggle to find/hear about them before they happen so I always miss out.

5. I’m quite a typical girly -girl as well as a bookworm. I love everything to do with makeup, hair, skincare and clothing.

6. I literally talk about books all the time and it probably annoys everyone to death but oh well.

7. I’m just going to die in 2016 with all the fandom related things going on. A Throne of Glass colouring book, as well as Sarah J Maas’ next 2 books being released. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Samantha Shannon’s next book The Song Rising. The new X-men: Apocalypse film and Avengers: Civil War. The Miss Peregrine’s film.  There’s probably more too that I can’t remember right now. AGH I won’t make it to the end of the year!

What’s a book genre that you hate, or strongly dislike?

Non fiction! I very very very rarely read anything non fiction. I’d rather live in the fictional world thank you very much.

I have no idea. The number on Goodreads is different to my actual TBR because I have a notebook with about 6 pages of books written down, and then loads more book titles in my head.

Autumn because everything turns pretty colours and it’s just the right temperature.

What was your favorite vacation that you took?

I’ve only been on holiday about twice, and only once out of my country. And that was to Scotland! I adored it there ❤

What did you want to be when you grew up as a little child?

I wanted to work on Broadway actually. Strange, since I can’t sing in front of people. I do have one of those voices that needs to be belted out though. I wouldn’t be good enough to work on Broadway anyway haha!

Harry potter because it’s Harry potter.

What was the best advice that was given to you?

I don’t know actually. Probably something along the lines of “Don’t let what anyone thinks of you affect you and get you down”.

Who do you look up to as a role model?

Emma Watson! She is so intelligent and she’s been my role model since I was eight years old.

What’s the #1 thing on your Christmas list?

Books! More specifically the Illustarted Harry Potter.

What is your favorite genre of music?

i don’t have a genre. I’m very picky with music. At the moment the only thing I listen to is Disney Songs,  Little Mix and Fall Out Boy.

What motivates you in the toughest of times?

Knowing that it’ll all turn out OK in the end.

I have loads.

Series: Harry potter, Throne Of Glass, The Bone Season, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus

Standalone: The Night Circus, The Dead House, The Shadow of the Wind, The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, The Book Thief.

If God himself, said you could choose the director, actors, screenplay writers..etc. for a book-movie adaptation, which book would you like to see on the big screen?

The Throne of Glass series. I know it’s been optioned for a TV show but I’m so nervous they’re going to get it wrong so I’d take over.

If you had to live on one meal for the rest of you life, what would it be? 

Chicken Chow Mein, with a variety of sides so I don’t get bored.

Chocolate frogs or All-Flavor Jelly Beans?

Chocolate frogs! I adore chocolate and the risk of having a horrible flavour with every flavoured beans is too high for my liking.

Your opinion on the Hunger Games trilogy?

I loved the books when I read them a couple of years ago. I also love the films. I cried at Mockingjay Part 2.

Summer. I hate being cold, which I am all the time, so Summer is my only respite.

I have a blog for my journalism college work and I liked how wordpress worked, so I made another dedicated to books, since I talk about them so much!
