Today brings to you a mini review, in the form of Holly Bourne’s …And A Happy New Year?

Only a short review, because this is a novella. And with only 200 pages, there’s only so much I can say. Though believe me, with how much I adore this series, I could fangirl for a long while.

spoiler-free

December Wrap Up – The one where I fly through books quicker than usual

december-wrap-up

December. The month of festivities. Christmas creeping closer, the streets bustling more as people hurriedly buy gifts for others. Everything is suddenly strung with lights and tinsel, lighting the world up for the final month of the year. There’s a happy atmosphere surrounding the air, gently concealing the stress levels Christmas can bring.

December brings along the Christmas break. A break from work, a break from college, a break to recover from the year. A break…to READ.

Okayy, that’s obviously not the universal reason for the Christmas/End of Year break but it sure as hell is MINE.

So let’s see what December brought!

There’s also a video version of this post if you’d like the see, combined with my January TBR! Click here to see! (though I forgot to mention one of the books – doh!)

Big December book haul: The aftermath of a 3 month book buying ban

december-haul

Ooooohhhhh how December was a great month, haul-wise.Β

I’ve been on a book buying ban for THREE MONTHS. I needed to save my money for a whole bunch of different things, and so my book buying was put on hold for a whole three months. And oh how Christmas made up for that πŸ˜†

Nearly all of these books were gifts I got for Christmas, since everyone around me knows how much I love books. I’m incredibly grateful for them all and always will be ❀

This post is going to be set out a bit differently. My main version of this is actually on my booktube channel, so below you’ll find a video for this haul. HOWEVER, I’ve also listed the books mentioned below the video, with the synopsis and relevant links, so if you don’t have time (or simply don’t want) to watch the video, you can have a quick glance through instead!

The video has me full of excitement and rambling about why/how I got each book though, so I’d recommend watching it *wink*

Let’s see which books December brought me!
