June Wrap Up

June wrap up

Did June even happen?

Apparently so.

It still hasn’t sunk in that here in England, it’s actually Summer now – not that the weather has done anything to help remind me. So all those books I’ve held off “until Summer when I have more time”…well, now’s the time.

Anyway, it’s the start of July, meaning a June Wrap-Up is needed. So here we are!

As always, this will be a long post so get comfy and enjoy!

I call this photo “The one in which I nearly give myself concussion trying to balance 9 books on my head”. Bit of a mouthful, but true.

Falling In Love With Anna And The French Kiss By Stephanie Perkins All Over Again (A Reread)

This was a REREAD for me!

I’m on a mission to finally continue this series! And that meant I needed to reread the first book, since I read it I think over two years ago and could hardly remember anything that happened. I know I didn’t HAVE to, since each book follows a different character, but I wanted to sort of kickstart my interest again. So the reread happened πŸ˜€

May Wrap Up – Complete With Some Major Fangirl Moments

May wrap up

I know this is coming nearly a week into June. I was going to write it the weekend before and have it up early, but I knew I’d finish one last book in May after this would’ve been uploaded, so I delayed the wrap up a week to include it.

Anyway, the month of May seemed to drag out considerably for me. The books I read at the start of the month feel like a lifetime ago. But I’ve had a decent reading month, and a fair few fangirl moments towards the end of the month.

As always, this is going to be a long post, so get comfy and enjoy!

May Book Haul – How Do You Manage To Accumulate Books Without Even Realizing?

may book haul

Well apparently it’s June.

May did actually drag for me. When I look back at these books, they all feel like I got them a lifetime ago. Well, apart from the last three, which I got a couple of days ago.

About that: The last three books I technically got on June 1st, BUT…I’m hoping not to buy any books in June so they’re being put into this book haul rather than be missed out.

And the title?

That’s because with this month dragging out so much for me, I managed to accumulate nine books in May without even realizing it. Probably because of a combination of me not buying all of them/ I’ve already read some of them/ and I got them over such a wide span…or so I thought.

So that’s enough rambling. Here’s the books!

That Huge Build Up Of Books That I Hope To Read This Summer

summer TBR

You know when you sort of keep buying books and you really want to read them all but you don’t know when that’ll happen so you keep planning to read them soon and then you end up in a huge tangle of “oh my goodness what do I read now?!?”

Well, that’s basically what this post is.

I suppose this is a TBR, since I’m actually planning on reading these.

But these books are the books I hope to read this summer – well, all the books that I OWN that I plan to read. No doubt I’ll end up buying more. And obviously I’ll be reading more than just these books.

This was originally going to be a Top 10 post, but …well…there’s more than ten πŸ˜€

But anyway, I’m rambling.

Here are the books I own that I hope to read this Summer!

March Book Haul (The Book Haul That Shouldn’t Exist)

march book haul

Oh how this post shouldn’t exist.

Not when I got so many books last month.

I even told myself not to buy more at the end of the February Book Haul – and I quote:

“I don’t think there’ll be any need for me to buy books for a while now”

Shows how much I listen to myself.

Anyway, I got more books. And here they are.

Let’s jump right in!

Books I want to REread this year

REread

This post might seem like something I should have written at the beginning of January rather than the end, but it’s only recently that I’ve started really wanting to reread some of the books I own.

This is going to be split into two sections: The first being books I’ll definitely reread this year, the second being books that I might reread.

So let’s get to it!

Around the world in YA

around the world in YA.PNG

It’s probably about time I did this tag! I was tagged by Olivia @ Heir of GlitterΒ so thank you!

So the aim of this tag is to list a bunch of countries – whether they’re the same as the person who tagged you or newly thought up – and find a book that’s set there.

I think the reason I’ve delayed this for so long is because I hardly ever remember where a story is set unless it’s a made up world like Hogwarts (Harry Potter) or Erilea (Throne of Glass). But now I’ve thought of some so let’s do this!
