For some unbeknownst reason, we over here in the UK have to wait until February for Heartless to be released. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC, and so now my review is coming at a strange in between place – where the US readers can relate (if they’ve read it), and the UK lot – as well as anywhere else it’s not released yet – are still waiting eagerly.

I find that kind of interesting, for some reason?

So on the last week of October, I decided to reread one of my favourite books, The Dead House by Dawn Kurtagich.

Alright you have no idea how much this header image is bothering me, with the title not fitting in the coloured stripe properly (it’s usually only one line rather than two but the title is way too long). But we’re just going to ignore that and get on with it, because that’s not what we’re here for.

I’d decided a while ago to reread this book. I’d finally gotten the last book in the trilogy a few months ago, but it had been that long since reading the first two I couldn’t actually remembered what happened. For some strange reason, this entire month I kept thinking we were halfway through October. It’s almost a relief we’ve reached October, just so that I’ll finally be right 😆

Plus, IT’S AUTUMN! *throws orange leaves in the air* Sure, it means from now until June next year I’ll be permanently cold, but oh well. Everything is cosy and pretty.
