Saga Volume 2 by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples | A quick & enjoyable read…but did anything really happen?

Saga vol 2

I have been saving this graphic novel for AGES.

I bought it a while ago, intending to read it when I read Dragonfly in Amber, so that when the huge book took me longer to get through, I’d have a quick one to keep me on track with my reading goal.

Well, turns out I didn’t need to do that. So this book was still waiting for me to read it. And finally, I decided to do just that.

I don’t know how long this review will be. I’m not too great at reviewing graphic novels, since they’re very much more about the art than the words…but I’ll try. It just might be a bit shorter than my usual reviews.

East of West

*All reviews I write are spoiler free*

Well.

Today’s review is going to be a graphic novel, purely because I’ve been busy most of the week and haven’t yet finished The Dream Thieves…in fact, I’m not even halfway through it yet. But since I always upload review on Fridays, I didn’t want to miss this week.

Luckily I had a graphic novel at hand that I hadn’t yet read.

So let’s talk about East of West!

The Walking Dead Volume 1: Days Gone Bye

Walking Dead 1

*All reviews are spoiler free*

Since it felt like it took me a while to reread A Darker Shade of Magic, I decided to pick up a graphic novel – this one being The Walking Dead.

Now, I don’t watch TV that often, so I’ve not seen the The Walking Dead TV series. All I know is that it’s quite popular, to say the least. And since I’ve been getting into graphic novels lately, I decided to go about learning the story this way.

I’m not too great at reviewing graphic novels yet, I find it quite difficult since they’re so short, so please bare with me!

So let’s talk about The Walking Dead!

Nimona by Noelle Stevenson

Nimona

Since Outlander is taking me a while to finish due to the sheer size of it (over 800 pages), I decided to read Nimona last night so that I would be able to upload a review this week. Since it’s a graphic novel it didn’t take me long to read at all, and I’ve been wanting to read this one for a while now. And I thought it’d be good to mix up my reading options a bit and add another graphic novel post to my blog!

This review may be slightly sorter than my usual ones, since it’s for a graphic novel.

So instead of rambling, let’s get to it!
